Welcome to Žuljana, an oasis of peace and beauty
in a beautiful west-turned sandy bay situated in the central-southern part of the Pelješac peninsula overlooking the island of Mljet and Mljet channel. Originally small fishermen settlement named after St. Julian and first mentioned in written documents from the 12th century has a very long experience with both classic (since 1924) and diving tourism which is rapidly developing and growing from year to year. The place has approximately 200 inhabitants, mostly occupied with winegrowing industry, olive production, fishing and tourism.

comfy accomodation in two spacious studios in attic with own kitchenette and west-oriented balcony, one roomy apartment in attic with own kitchenette and south-oriented balcony, three standard sized rooms in 1st floor (one with french window) with common kitchen at ground floor and common south-oriented terrace with separated seating, two roomy apartments in 1st floor with own kitchenette and west-oriented balcony, one standard sized room and two spacious studios with own kitchenette at ground floor with seating in loggia and garden view and a new fully equipped bungalow across the yard.
All of them fully air-conditioned, with own bathroom/WC, equipped with DVB CRT/LCD TV’s, free internet access over WiFi in the rooms, modern furniture, bedclothes, towels, dishes and cutlery. Outdoor seating includes metal garden furniture, sunshade or sunblind.
You can taste our traditional cuisine based on commodities as fishes from local fishermen or near fish market, mussels, oysters, calamari and squid, pork or lamb meat including vegetables from our garden in bio quality, red wine from our Dingač vineyard and white wine from our Mostar vineyard. You’re also welcome to taste sweety figs from trees growing in the garden.

Bays, beaches, pebbles and sand...
The sandy beach located in the Žuljana bay with shallow and clean water is specially convenient for children, but other beautiful beaches with shallow entrance and small natural pebbles including famous Vučine bay situated in the surrounding of Žuljana are also suitable for them.
Be active or just relax...
Possibility of excursions direct from Žuljana quay to the neighboring island of Mljet with national park, Malo and Veliko salt lakes and Benedictine monastery on Veliko lake islet, hiking and cycling along numerous mountain paths and fire roads between olive orchards, vineyards and pine forests, sea kayaking along the coast or to nearby islets, diving at attractive locations organized by two local diving centres will make your stay here more active and pleasant.
Food, wine and local services...
Visitors can find everything they need since there’s a basic grocery store here, bakery kiosk, tourist and post office with money exchange, two permanent restaurants and caffe bar. Many of local people also sell their home products as naturally grown fruits and vegetables, wine, olive oil and if you get up early, you can also obtain a fresh fishes or mussels from local fishermen. Wine-growing is very important for this village too since it is located on one of best wine regions in Croatia, just few kilometers from the famous Dingač vineyards.
And don’t forget
You can always make a short trip to famous local attractions as historic walls and saltworks of Ston, maritime museum and Franciscan monastery in Orebić, old town of Korčula, birthplace of Marco Polo with museums, exhibitions, cathedral and churches. Or you can consider Žuljana as base for longer escapes to attractions in Southern Dalmatia or adjacent Hercegovina.
